PERFORMANCE Parameters

Systemwide variables to collect and store performance data over time. This additional data allows the support department to do a faster and more precise analysis of the system.

Note: The system checks for performance incidents as defined in the UC_PERFORMANCE_THRESHOLDS variable, see UC_PERFORMANCE_THRESHOLDS - Performance Check.

PERFORMANCE_ACTIVE

  • Description: Defines whether this feature is turned on or turned off, previously called PERFORMANCE.

  • Allowed values: Y and N

  • Default value: N

  • Restart required: No

PERFORMANCE_CHECK_INTERVAL

  • Description: This value specifies how often issues are checked. This value should be a multiple of PERFORMANCE_MEASURE_INTERVAL.

    Important! Consult CA Automic Support before you set or change this value.

  • Allowed values: 1 to 60 minutes

  • Default value: 5

  • Restart required: No

PERFORMANCE_CLEANUP_BATCH_SIZE

  • Description: Specifies how large are the batches used for deleting metrics.

  • Allowed values: 1 to 900

  • Default value: 900

  • Restart required: No

PERFORMANCE_KEEP_DAYS

  • Description: Allows you to define the number of days that the performance data is stored in the database.

  • Allowed values: 1 to 2147483647

  • Default value: 30

  • Restart required: No

PERFORMANCE_MEASURE_INTERVAL

  • Description: This value specifies how often metrics are written to database.

    Important! Consult CA Automic Support before you set or change this value.

  • Allowed values: 1 to 60 minutes

  • Default value: 1

  • Restart required: No
